Only One Problem & Only One Solution

While exploring YouTube one afternoon, I noticed a video titled "How to stop worrying about what other people think of you?", so I wanted to redefine the problem for you and share with you what was wrong with the title of that video.

First let’s break down the problem.

The first part of the problem is worrying, which is an activity of the mind, (aka; thinking). The second part of the problem is what you’re worrying about (in this case, what others think of you), which is also an activity happening within your own mind (aka; thinking).

So basically the problem is a thought problem that we’re calling “worry” and “what others think”.

The problem with psychology and self help today is that it is looking at the effects of thought, not Thought itself. Rather than looking at the principles behind the working of the mind, it is looking at the many thinking patterns and programming an individual has.

Here are some of the many terms we use for thinking activities :

⁃ Worrying

⁃ Fear

⁃ Doubt

⁃ Insecurity

⁃ Confusion

⁃ Hesitation

And here are some of the many contents of those activities above:

⁃ What others think

⁃ Public speaking

⁃ Your capabilities

⁃ Your self worth

⁃ Making decisions

⁃ Business strategy

Finally, let’s put them together, both the activity of thought and its content:

⁃ Worrying - about what others think.

⁃ Afraid - of speaking in public.

⁃ Doubtful - about your own skills and capabilities.

⁃ Insecure - about your own self worth.

⁃ Confused - about which decision to make.

⁃ Hesitant - to take the next necessary step.

Now let’s take those effects back to their original form:

⁃ Thought activity - about thought content

⁃ Thought activity - about thought content

⁃ Thought activity - about thought content

⁃ Thought activity - about thought content

⁃ Thought activity - about thought content

⁃ Thought activity - about thought content

Do you see now? There is always one problem, and it is being lost in thought.

And there is only one solution, and it’s to wake up and go back to the space within.

That space from which all thought rises and dissolves.

Enjoy Living. Enjoy Succeeding.
